The Larimer Chorale, Michael Todd Krueger, conductor and artistic director, is an auditioned "symphonic" chorus of 110 voices that presents four major concerts per year. Concert programming is focused on choral/orchestral masterworks. Recent repertoire has included: Carmina Burana by Carl Orff, Brahms' Ein deutsches Requiem, Beethoven's Mass in C Major, A Ceremony of Carols by Benjamin Britten and the Chichester Psalms of Leonard Bernstein. Regular rehearsals are Tuesday evenings from 7:00-9:30 pm (mid-August through mid-May) and each concert typically has two dress rehearsals the week of the performance.
Successful candidates must be able to commit to the Chorale's 2014-2015 season calendar. Future opportunities to direct the Chorale's new Biermeister Chorus may also develop.
